Sundays at 10:00 AM

This is a place where kids from ages 6-12 can learn about Jesus.  At Cornerstone Kids we strive to make learning about Jesus and experience that the kids will never forget!

Cornerstone Kids uses Hillsong’s BIG Curriculum because we want our kids to “Lead BIG, expansive lives and grow to be Big people who lead and influence in every area of their BIG lives, believing in a BIG God and making a BIG difference.”

We are starting a new series on some Unlikely Heroes in the Bible. We will start with Unlikely Heroes who were Men. We will then talk about some Unlikely Heroes who were Women. And we will complete the series with Unlikely Heroes who started the Church.

June 9th Our first unlikely Hero is Joshua. From the story of Joshua and His good report we will learn that Heroes Have Courage! The kids will learn:
1. Heroes are everyday people just like them!
2. Understand that with courage and God on his side Joshua became a Hero
3. Know that with God they can have courage too!

June 16th Our Second Unlikely Hero is Nehemiah. From the story of Nehemiah going from Nobody to Somebody we will learn that Heroes see the Opportunity! The kids will learn:
1. Nehemiah was a hero because he saw and opportunity to make a positive difference and he DID it.
2. Understand that ONE person can make a BIG impact!
3. We can look for GOD opportunities to help others.

June 23rd Our Last Unlikely hero for the men is Elijah. From Elijah’s experiences of ups and downs we learn that Heroes rely on God in the GOOD times and the BAD. The kids will learn:
1. Elijah was a man that relied on God
2. God is with us no matter what season we are in.
3. Know that we can rely on God ALWAYS!

This months scripture verse is Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and Courageous. Do not be afraid; Do not be Discouraged, For the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
